Maria Ernestina Velez de Mendoza, 63, of Perryton, died Monday,April 29, 2024 in Beaver County, OK.
Funeral mass was held Tuesday, May 7, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
She was born Nov. 17, 1960 in Mexico, and married Manuel Rendon in Perryton. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel, of Perryton; one daughter, Maria Blanca Gallardo, of Perryton; two sons, Daniel Mendoza of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico and Juan Carlos Mendoza of Amarillo; her mother, Magdalena Ayala of Perryton; four brothers, Roman Velez of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, Saul Velez of Buffalo, OK, and Jesus Velez and Rito Velez, both of Perryton; two sisters, Eva Boose of Flora, IL and Patty Velez of Perryton; and 12 grandchildren.
