Griselda Velez rites held May 7

Griselda Lomas De Velez, 49, of Perryton, died April 29, 2024 in Beaver County, OK.

Funeral mass was held Tuesday, May 7, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

She was born Feb. 5, 1975 in Zacatecas, Mexico, and married Clemente Velez May 30, 1995 in El Paso.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Velez, of Liberal, KS; two sons, Adolfo Velez and Luis Angel Velez, both of Perryton; her mother and father, Paz Gallardo andAndres Lomas, both of Nieves Zacatecas, Mexico; three brothers, Ramon Lomas of Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico, Octavio Lomas of Kennewick, WA and Juan Lomas of Lyons, KS; three sisters, Teresa Lomas of Madison, WI,Ana Rosa Lomas of Nieves Zacatecas, Mexico and Elvira Gallardo of Hereford.
